Physical and Parent Consent Forms

Attention Players

There are many players who have not handed in their physical forms and/or their updated parent consent forms.  If these forms are not completed, players will not be able to participate beginning the start of the official practice season on August 15, 2008.  Please complete and return all documents to the nurse at Steinert High School.  If you are not sure of your child’s status, you may call the nurse at 631-4150 and follow the prompts.  The nurse will return your call promptly as to the status.  If you have a scheduling problem with your physician for a physical, the school will be doing physicals on August 13, 2008 at 9:00 am.  Please call the school nurse for an appointment.  All forms can be found under the “Forms” section of the website.

In order for the throwback jerseys to be purchased by the Trenton Times, a roster with uniform numbers has to be put together by the end of July.  I am in the process of putting together this roster and assigning numbers.  Please remind the players to see me by Friday to pick which number they will wear this coming year.  I have the majority of the upper classmen, but very few lower classmen.  It is imperative that the players come to the weight room on Wednesday or Friday night and reserve a number or they will not have a jersey come Thanksgiving Day.

Also, the weight room will definitely be open from now on.  The last few days we have been locked out of the school.  This will not happen again.  Back to our normal schedule of Monday, Wednesday, Friday.

Lastly, the player coach softball game that was scheduled for this Thursday the 24th has been postponed to next Thursday the 31st.  Sorry for any inconvenience.

Wednesday's 7on7 practice and weightroom has been moved to thursday July 3rd. 7on7 practice 5-6, weightroom 6-8.  The Sunshine football classic is Wednesday night and we have a player participating in the game (Corey Johnson) that everyone would like to go support.  We as coaches also feel it is important to give the players the opportunity to go see a good football game.

August 30th - Tri-Scrimmage against Long Branch and Monroe (Away)
Sept. 5th - Scrimmage against WWP-North (Home)
